Restaurants in Baguio : Hill Station Tapas Bar & Restaurant Baguio

Voted as one of Asia's finest restaurant, Hill Station Tapas Bar and Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Baguio City. It offers mouth-watering fusion of Asian, American and European cuisines. It is open to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Hill Station Tapas Bar and Restaurant looks boring from the outside so it will probably not catch anyone's attention but when you go inside it, it looks fancy and interesting. I personally like the ambiance inside the restaurant. I love the clear glass window surrounding the dining area. It felt like I am dining with nature as I can clearly see the pine trees outside the restaurant.

The Food

We were served with bread with olive oil and Egyptian Dukka Dip - a mixture of nuts, sesame seeds and spices. It was good but there was nothing special in it.

Next on the table was the Caesar Salad with Shredded Duck Confit (P260). It tasted really good. I love the chewy taste of the duck meat.

For the main course, we were served with Crispy Duck Flakes, Lamb Tagine with Honeyed Prunes and Moroccan Spiced Baby Back Ribs.

The Crispy Duck Flakes (P380) looked interesting and it actually tasted good. It was something that I have eaten for the first time as I am not really a fan of duck meat.

The Lamb Tagine with Honeyed Prunes (P460) was also good. Well, for the record I do not really eat lamb meat but on that day, I did. I tasted it and it was not bad, my friends actually like it a lot.

The Moroccan Spiced Baby Back Ribs (P395) was my favorite. I love how the spices blends well together. Definitely a must try if you are visiting Hill Station Baguio.

As for the dessert, we were served with lemon square and ice cream palette (P180). The latter was sumptuous. I love the different tastes of ice cream all in one palette. It is a composed of Benguet Coffee with Choco Chips, Mango Rum, Salted Caramel Ice Cream, Dark Chocolate with Cayenne and Vanilla Cinnamon. The ice cream flavors were very unique and tasty. Something to look forward to when I visit Baguio again, soon.
