List of Philippine Festivals in June


Philippines has hundreds of festivals and most towns have their own celebrations in addition to the popular festivals we are familiar with. Lasting anywhere between a day to an entire month, Philippine Festivals are mostly religious and cultural celebrations that attract thousands of local and foreign tourists because of its fun and colorful vibe.


List of  Philippine Festivals in June.

Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival
Where: Tacloban City
When: June 29
What is it all about?
The Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival is an annual festivity held in the City of Tacloban every June 29. It is a cultural-religious festival that pays homage to Tacloban's patron saint, Señor Santo Niño de Tacloban. It started as Pintados Festival in 1986 which showcased the body painting traditions of the ancient tattoed "pintados" warriors. In 1996, it was merged with Kasadyaan Festival. Kasadyaan, a Bisaya word means merriment.


Sarangani Bay (SarBay) Festival 
Where: Sarangani Province
When: May / June
What is it all about?
Sarbay festival is a two-day summer weekend held annually in the Province of Sarangani. It features sports competition, nightly parties and lots of other activities. The festival is probably the biggest event in the Southern Philippines.
