Belum Rainforest Resort : Your Gateway to Nature

data-ad-format="link">

One of the places I was really looking forward to see before the Visit Perak trip even started was the Belum Rainforest Resort. I remembered reading an article on CNN about rainforest retreats in Malaysia. So, I looked it up again and I was right, the Belum Rainforest Resort is on that CNN's list.

The Belum Rainforest Resort is one of Malaysia's premier ecotourism holiday destinations. Located in the middle of Belum-Temengor Rainforest in Pulau Banding, the Belum Rainforest Resort is an ideal getaway for nature lovers and holiday-goers who want to experience serenity and relaxation. Guests of the resort have a rare opportunity of experiencing nature at its best. Check rates and availability.

I am a little bit sad that we didn't have much time to explore and enjoy the place. We arrived in the evening and had to leave the following morning. We explore a little bit of the place but I really wanted to explore more and just enjoy the beauty of nature.

The resort's buffet breakfast at the Hornbill Restaurant was good. They offered a variety of food choices both local and international dishes. It was a break from an all-Malaysian food from the previous days of the trip. Hahaha.

The Belum Rainforest Resort also features a 25x5.5 meter infinity edge pool with an overlooking  view of the pristine and picturesque  Lake Banding. I'd really want to dip in the pool but I woke up quite late so there was no time for swimming.

Overall, our stay at the Belum Rainforest Resort was amazing. It was a great experience to be closer with nature. It's a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
