HONG KONG TRAVEL GUIDE : Where to Stay, Where to Eat, Things to Do & Sample Itinerary

We know that it is not easy to plan a holiday from scratch, so we made this absolutely free and complete Hong Kong Travel Guide to help you plan your Hong Kong adventure.

Getting to Hong Kong
Hong International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, so, if you are leaving in a major city, chances are, there is a direct flight from your place to Hong Kong. In the Philippines, many carriers both full service airline and low cost carriers have direct flights to Hong Kong from Manila, Clark, Cebu, Kalibo, and Iloilo.

From the airport, you can take a bus or an express train to Kowloon or to the Central Business District. If you prefer to take the bus, there are markers that will lead you to the bus terminal The cost is relatively cheaper compared to the train rates. If you prefer a more convenient way of getting out of the airport, you may take the express train which will take you faster to the city proper. I suggest you book your express train ticket in advance to avoid long queue in the airport. Buy HK express train ticket now.

Also, if you are planning to roam around HK which I am pretty sure you are, it is highly recommended to get an Octopus Card. This is a prepaid card loaded with cash value and can be used to pay for transport rides as well as pay some stores. Buy Octopus Card here.

In order to make sure you don't get lost in Hong Kong, it is advisable to rent a 4G pocket wifi so you are connected any time. You can rent a 4g WIFI here.
