Talicud Island in the Island Garden City of Samal is home to some of the most gorgeous beaches in Davao Region. A visit to Davao is not complete without exploring and experiencing the pristine white sand beaches of Samal.
Talicud Island is about an hour away from Davao City. There are a number of boat trips from Davao City’s Sta. Ana Wharf near Magsaysay Park to the island on a daily basis. During weekends, it gets crowded so you must be at the port as early as possible to make sure you get a seat in the boat. The schedule below is usually being followed on weekdays. On weekends, the boat departs as soon as it is full regardless of the time. (Read: Beach Resorts in Samal Part 2)
