HOW TO GET TO BATANES
Booking a ticket to Batanes may be hard especially for budget conscious travelers. But, gone are the days that you will have to pay more than 10k to go to Batanes by plane. Nowadays, PAL Express, Skyjet and other small carriers have promos for their Batanes flights from Manila. Just recently, PAL Expresss has launch its 4x weekly flights to Basco, Batanes from Clark International Airport. It leaves Clark at 11:45 am every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The return flight departs Basco at 2 pm on the same days.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT BATANES?
The best time to visit Batanes is during summer season between March to June, although it is pretty much okay to go there all-year-round. The only issue when visiting the island province during rainy season is the weather.
