Validity of India Tourist e-Visa
The India Tourist e-Visa is valid one year from the date of issuance of electronic travel authorization (ETA). Again, the validity starts on the issuance date and NOT on your entry date. So it is advisable NOT to apply too early in order to maximize the validity of your Multiple entry Indian visa. Ideally, you can apply at least a week in advance prior to your travel date.
You will be allowed to stay in India up to 90 days each visit. Visitors from the USA, UK, Canada, and Japan can stay up to 180 days.
