It’s a comfortable journey and ideal if you are traveling on a budget. The bus trip from Cebu City to the port is around 4-5 hours and the ferry ride is only about 30 minutes. From the ferry terminal in Sibulan, it will take around 30 minutes to reach Dumaguete City.

Cokaliong has a 4x weekly ferry schedule between the cities of Cebu and Dumaguete. The ferry leaves Cebu at 8:00 PM every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, & Sunday. It departs Dumaguete at 11:59 PM every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday. The fare starts at Php355 in the economy class.
