The Philippine government through the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-MEID) has classified countries into Green, Yellow, and Red categories. The entry and quarantine protocols usually differ depending on the category of the country.

This scheme will be suspended effective 1 February 2021. All arriving passengers to the Philippines will no longer be required to undergo facility-based quarantine upon arrival.
