Good news! Starting 10 February 2022, The Philippines will start accepting fully vaccinated leisure travelers from countries whose nationals do not need a visa to enter the country. This is based on the IATF order 159 dated 27 January 2022.
As per the new guideline, visitors will NOT need to undergo a facility-based quarantine as long they are able to present a negative RT-PCR result taken 48 hours before arrival. They must, however, carry proof of vaccination against COVID-19 that is recognized by the IATF-EID. Check complete travel requirements to enter the Philippines.

Nationals from countries listed below who are traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to the port of origin or next port of destination and their passports valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay.
Nationals from the following countries are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a period of stay of thirty (30) days or less:

The following are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding fourteen (14) days:
- Holders of Hong Kong Special Administrative (SAR) passports.
- Holders of Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) passports.
The following are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding seven (7) days:
- Holders of Macau-Portuguese passports
- Holders of Hong Kong British passports.
Acceptable Proof of Vaccination
- World Health Organization (WHO) certificate of vaccination and prophylaxis
- VaxCertPH of the Department of Health available at https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph
- National or state digital certificate of a foreign government which has accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the IATF.
