President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has issued a directive to suspend classes in all public schools at all levels and work in government offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) on Monday, July 24, 2023.

Meanwhile, some local government units have also made the decision to suspend classes and work due to the adverse weather conditions brought about by Severe Tropical Storm Egay.
