The Manila Marriott is a premier 5-star hotel in the Philippines, offering a luxurious stay with its 570 spacious and well-appointed rooms. With 8 dining outlets, you’ll have a wide range of culinary options to choose from, catering to every palate. The hotel’s crown jewel is its Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 4,000 guests, making it an ideal venue for large events and celebrations. Conveniently located across from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, the Manila Marriott is the perfect place to stay for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and world-class amenities.

In December 2016, Marriott Manila expanded its room accommodation with the addition of the West Wing, a modern annex located in a building adjacent to the main hotel and the Marriott grand ballroom.
During my recent trip to Manila, I had the pleasure of staying at the West Wing for the first time and was impressed by its sleek and contemporary design.
Executive Room
During my stay at the Marriott Manila, I was accommodated in the luxurious Executive Room, which boasts an impressive 46 square meters of space, surpassing the smaller 36 square meter rooms in the main wing. The room provided ample space for comfort with its plush King-sized bed and sophisticated decor that included top-of-the-line amenities. As an added bonus, access to the Executive Lounge was also included.

The room was also equipped with a separate bathtub and shower. It has a sofa set next to the bed and a round table and two chairs that can function as a working or dining space.

Executive Lounge
As previously mentioned, my stay at Marriott Manila granted me exclusive access to the Executive Lounge. The Marriott West Wing’s Executive Lounge is equipped with a captivating show kitchen, cozy reading nooks, and exclusive meeting spaces that offer stunning views of the Villamor Golf Course.

The lounge offers the following perks:
- Continental Breakfast
- Midday snack
- Afternoon tea
- Hors d’oeuvres
- Dessert
- Complimentary cocktails
- Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages
The ambiance of the lounge is warm and relaxing, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

Swimming Pool and Fitness Center
Located on the roof deck of the West Wing, the hotel’s separate swimming pool and fitness center offer a unique experience. While the original swimming pool exudes a charming resort-like atmosphere, the rooftop pool at the West Wing offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Villamor Golf Course and the towering skyscrapers of Makati and BGC, making it a standout feature of the hotel.

Aside from the stunning 180 degrees view of the city, it also offers a perfect plane spotting experience especially during the late afternoon, before the sun sets. I personally enjoyed taking shots of planes landing at NAIA.
