NUSTAR Resort Cebu, known for its luxury and elegance in the Visayas-Mindanao region, recently kicked off the holiday season with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Atrium on October 25, 2024. The event launched “Mystical Holiday Magic,” filling the resort with lights, decorations, and a joyful atmosphere for the holidays.
Lighting Up the Season with Stars
For the third year, NUSTAR continued its tradition of lighting the Christmas tree with stars that represent love, hope, peace, and joy. This year, notable figures who embody these values were invited to place stars on the tree. The final star was added by NUSTAR’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Alan Teo, completing a display that symbolizes unity, tradition, and holiday spirit.
As the tree lit up, guests were reminded of the season’s deeper meaning, celebrating values that NUSTAR cherishes with its community.
A Celebration with A Purpose: Supporting Local Talent
NUSTAR’s Mystical Holiday Magic isn’t just about lights; it’s also about giving back. Through the Universal Cultural Foundation Inc. (UCFI), NUSTAR contributed to Sistema Pilipino, a nonprofit that nurtures young musical talent in Cebu and the Philippines. The foundation awarded scholarships to deserving young musicians, helping them pursue their dreams. This gesture highlights NUSTAR’s commitment to making a positive impact and spreading the true spirit of Christmas.
A Night of Music, Magic, and Merriment
The night continued with an afterparty at Axis, featuring the launch of NUSTAR’s new music video, “Balay ni Mayang,” a follow-up to the popular “I Love Cebu” video. The party included live performances, festive tunes, and holiday cheer, creating unforgettable memories for all attendees.
