Around 10 AM, we headed to the provincial capitol and met the vice governor who happens to be Nath’s friend. After the short meet and greet, we headed to the Mabua Pebble Beach. I went up to the hill and saw an overlooking view of the beach. It was breathtaking . I wanted to stay long but it was too hot so I had to go down the hill and went to the beach front and took some photos.

On our way back to the city, we stopped by a local shop that sells delicious biko and a local rice-based delicacy called sayongsong. Pretty cheap for such a delicious snacks.

We went back to the city and visited Rick who is a member of Surigao tourism council. He showed us around the city and did a quick historical tour. The experience was educational, I learned a lot from Rick regarding the rich history of the city.
After the city tour, Nath and I had our lunch at Same Place – delicious barbecue just what I need for my hungry tummy.
The Surigao Museum
Rick told me to pay a visit to the museum to meet one of his friends who happens to be a volunteer there. I went to the museum and met Karlo. He’s really a nice guy and I enjoyed chatting with him about Surigao and the best attractions of the province. I was supposed to go to Day-asan floating Village but decided to cancel the trip since I was having fun talking with him. We even watched a taped episode of a TV show featuring Surigao. It was already getting dark when I left the museum.

I went back to Nath’s office and we had dinner and then we took a jeepney to her house and slept. It was a tiring activity but it was all worth it.
