Camiguin is an island province in Mindanao known for its natural wonders. One of the most popular means of reaching Camiguin is through the Balingoan Port. Balingoan Port is about 2.5 hours away from Cagayan de Oro City. The travel time from Balingoan Port to Benoni Port and Guinsiliban Port in Camiguin is about an hour. Benoni is nearer to Mambajao, the capital town of Camiguin province, so if you’re heading to Mambajao or Mahinog then you should choose to arrive in Benoni Port. (Read: Camiguin Travel Guide)
The island province of Camiguin still requires a QR code to enter the province. Visit the Isle Visit Camiguin to get your QR code for free. It will be verified at the port and will be scanned when arriving in Benoni Port so make sure it’s saved in your phone.
