Are you heading to Metro Manila for Holy Week? Here’s a heads up! LRT-1, LRT-2, MRT-3, and PNR will be closed from March 28th to 31st for maintenance. But don’t worry, bus services will still be running regular schedules. Plan your trip accordingly!

LRT 1 Holy Week Operation
LRT-1 will be undergoing important maintenance to ensure continued reliability. Train services will be temporarily suspended from Baclaran Station to Fernando Poe Jr. Station (and vice versa) from March 27th (Holy Wednesday) until March 31st (Easter Sunday).
This closure will allow them to complete:
- Annual preventive maintenance activities
- Mandatory testing of the Alstom signaling system for the LRT-1 Cavite Extension project
LRT-1 operations will resume normal service on April 1st (Monday).

LRT 2 Holy Week Schedule
LRT-2 operations will be suspended from March 28 (Maundy Thursday) to March 31 (Easter Sunday) to allow for annual maintenance activities.
Shortened operating hours will be in effect on March 27 (Holy Wednesday):
- First train from Recto and Antipolo stations: 5:00 AM
- Last train from Recto and Antipolo stations: 7:00 PM
Regular LRT-2 operations will resume on April 1, 2024.

PNR Operation during Holy Week
The Philippine National Railways (PNR) is suspending its services between Governor Pascual, Tutuban, and Alabang starting March 28, 2024. This temporary closure aims to speed up the construction of the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project in Metro Manila.
Due to the PNR service suspension lasting several months, a temporary bus system will be implemented. Bus stop locations near the PNR Station are shown below.
The bus trips on the Tutuban-Alabang (Southbound) route will start at 7:30 AM, 9:10 AM, 3:00 PM, 3:20 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9:00 PM. On the other hand, the bus trips on the Alabang-Tutuban (Northbound) route will start at 5:00 AM, 6:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 11:45 AM, 5:00 PM, and 6:10 PM.
