UPDATE: The Doha to Davao route is no longer direct and it’s now via Clark with a 1.5 hours layover at Clark International Airport. Estimated time of arrival in Davao is now 8:50 PM. The Davao-Doha flight, on the other hand, is still direct. It departs Davao International Airport at 10:20 PM and arrives in Doha, Qatar around 3:15 AM the following day local time.
Initially, it will only be a weekly flight (1x a week) but as mentioned by Mr. Al Baker in the press con, they are looking at increasing the frequency to 3x weekly once the new aircraft are available.
